EXACT Function in Excel tests if two supplied text strings or values are exactly equal. If two values are equal then TRUE is returned, if two value are not equal then FALSE is returned.
NOTE: The EXACT Function is case-sensitive.
Syntax of EXACT Function in Excel :
- text1 ,text2 – The text or values that you want to check for the equality.
Example of EXACT Function in Excel :
- EXACT Function is case sensitive so row number 2 returns FALSE.
- In row number 3 the two strings have different spaces so the EXACT Function returns FALSE.
- EXACT Functions tests the equality of two text values, Date value and number value from row number 4 to 8.
