GESTEP Function in Excel: GESTEP Function in Excel tests whether a supplied number is greater than or equal to the certain threshold. GESTEP Function returns 1, if supplied number is greater than or equal to threshold [step].GESTEP Function returns 0.

COMPLEX Function in Excel:  COMPLEX Function in Excel takes two arguments, representing the real and the imaginary coefficients of a complex number, and creates a complex number.

IMABS Function in Excel: IMABS Function in Excel returns the absolute value (the modulus) of a complex number.

The imaginary coefficient of the complex number, z = x + iy is y

 

 

IMCONJUGATE Function in Excel: IMCONJUGATE Function in Excel returns the complex conjugate of a supplied complex number.

The complex conjugate of the complex number, z = x + iy is x-iy

 

IMEXP Function in Excel: IMEXP Function in Excel returns the exponential of a supplied complex number.

The exponential of a complex number z = x + iy is calculated by the equation,

e(x+iy)=exeyi= ex(cos y + i sin y)

 

IMLN Function in Excel: IMLN Function in Excel returns the Natural Logarithm of a supplied complex number.

IMSUM Function in Excel: IMSUM Function in Excel returns the sum of two or more complex numbers. IMSUM Function can add up to 255 complex numbers.

The sum of two complex numbers a+bi and c+di is:(a+bi) + (c+di) = (a+c) + (b+d)i

 

IMPRODUCT Function in Excel: IMPRODUCT Function in Excel returns the product of two or more complex numbers. IMPRODUCT Function can multiply up to 255 complex numbers.

The product of two complex numbers a+bi and c+di is: (a+bi) * (c+di) = (ac-bd) + (ad+bc)i

 

IMSUB Function in Excel: IMSUB Function in Excel returns the difference of two complex numbers .(i.e. subtracts one complex number from another).

The difference of two complex numbers a+bi and c+di is:(a+bi) – (c+di) = (a-c) + (b-d)i

 

IMDIV Function in Excel: IMDIV Function in Excel returns the quotient on division of two complex numbers. (i.e. divides one complex number from another).
