The complex conjugate of the complex number, z = x + iy is x-iy

IMEXP Function in Excel: IMEXP Function in Excel returns the exponential of a supplied complex number.

The exponential of a complex number z = x + iy is calculated by the equation,

e(x+iy)=exeyi= ex(cos y + i sin y)

IMLN Function in Excel: IMLN Function in Excel returns the Natural Logarithm of a supplied complex number. IMLOG10 Function in Excel: IMLOG10 Function in Excel returns the common (base 10) logarithm of a supplied complex number. IMREAL Function in Excel: IMREAL Function in Excel returns the real coefficient of a complex number.

The real coefficient of the complex number, z = x + iy is x

IMPOWER Function in Excel: IMPOWER Function in Excel returns the power of a complex number. i.e  a supplied complex number raised to given power.

IMSUM Function in Excel: IMSUM Function in Excel returns the sum of two or more complex numbers. IMSUM Function can add up to 255 complex numbers.

The sum of two complex numbers a+bi and c+di is:(a+bi) + (c+di) = (a+c) + (b+d)i

IMPRODUCT Function in Excel: IMPRODUCT Function in Excel returns the product of two or more complex numbers. IMPRODUCT Function can multiply up to 255 complex numbers.

The product of two complex numbers a+bi and c+di is: (a+bi) * (c+di) = (ac-bd) + (ad+bc)i

IMSUB Function in Excel: IMSUB Function in Excel returns the difference of two complex numbers .(i.e. subtracts one complex number from another).

The difference of two complex numbers a+bi and c+di is:(a+bi) – (c+di) = (a-c) + (b-d)i

IMDIV Function in Excel: IMDIV Function in Excel returns the quotient on division of two complex numbers. (i.e. divides one complex number from another).
